App preferences

App preferences control how the Swebsy editor feels and behaves while you work. These settings are personal to the editor interface. They do not change the page on the canvas and are not exported with your site.

Editor theme is separate from site dark mode

App Theme changes the Swebsy interface only. To design the dark version of the site itself, use the Dark mode guide.

Change the editor theme

1. Click the gear icon in the left sidebar.
2. Open Preferences.
3. Choose Light, Dark, or System under App Theme.

Expected result

The editor chrome updates to the selected theme. The canvas, exported HTML, and published site keep their existing light/dark styling.

Preferences controls editor-only options such as App Theme and Anonymous product analytics.

Use System if you want the editor to follow your operating-system appearance setting. Use Light or Dark when you want the editor to stay fixed regardless of the system setting.

Product analytics

The Anonymous product analytics switch controls app-level usage analytics for the Swebsy editor. These analytics help improve the builder and are separate from analytics tags you add to your exported website.

1. Click the gear icon in the left sidebar.
2. Open Preferences.
3. Turn Anonymous product analytics on or off.

Expected result

Swebsy updates the editor’s product analytics preference. Your canvas, exported site, visitor analytics, deployment settings, and site content are unchanged.

Product analytics do not send site content, prompts, tokens, repo names, domains, or uploaded files.
