Fonts

Go to Settings → Fonts.

  1. Stay on the Google Fonts tab.
  2. Open Choose font from list to add and search for the family you want (e.g. Inter or Playfair Display).

  3. Review the variants that appear. Swebsy selects the available variants for the family by default; uncheck any weights or styles you do not need.

  4. Click Add font.
  5. Click Save in the settings modal footer.
Adding a Google Font to the project font library
  1. Open the Upload Font tab.
  2. Enter a Font Family Name (e.g. MyBrand).
  3. Click or drag one or more font files into Upload Font Files & Configure. Supported formats are WOFF2, WOFF, TTF, OTF, and EOT.

  4. For each uploaded file, confirm the weight (e.g. 400) and style (Normal or Italic).

  5. Click Add Family.
  6. Click Save in the settings modal footer.

Custom fonts are saved with your project and included automatically when you export or deploy — no third-party service needed.

Uploading a custom font file and adding it to the font library

After adding and saving a font, go to Settings → Theme → Typography and select it as the Sans, Serif, or Mono font family.

Common issues

Font not showing in the picker — make sure you saved the Fonts settings before opening the Theme panel.

Font renders correctly in the editor but not after export — custom font files are embedded during export. If you’re using a very large font file (>2 MB), the export may time out; try using only the weights you need.
